Summer 2024 Session is Complete
Will you come to my home or community pool for lessons?
Absolutely! If you would like the lessons to be at your community pool, I do require at least 2 children for the session. Time will be split 50/50 between the children. Space is limited. A $25 fee (per child) may be applied for traveling longer distances.
I don't have a pool. Now what?
Not to worry. We have a pool to use for those without access to one.
How can I enroll for class?
You may contact our swim instructors via email at enroll@swimmastersga.com. Please include your name, phone number, and best time to call so we can make arrangements for enrollment and answer any additional questions you may have.
What is the schedule like for swimming lessons?
All swimmers will be enrolled in a two week lesson plan that will consist of 8 sessions (Monday-Thursday, for two straight weeks). This is a proven family technique (for over 70 years now!) that helps kids learn swimming skills through a repetitive and family fun environment.
What is the enrollment fee?
A $25.00 deposit (per family) is required for reserving your lesson slot. This is non-refundable and will be deducted from your total cost. The remaining balance is to be paid in full on the first day of lessons.
What is the cost of each two week session?
Do you offer any discounts?
We finished our first two-week lesson plan, now what?
We encourage swimmers to continue their lessons as much as possible. Not all swimmers will automatically advance to the next level after completing their set of lessons. Advancement is made based on skill assessment. It is common for a swimmer to stay at the same level for a couple of sessions at a time as each child learns at a different pace.
My child has never swam before. What should I expect?
This is completely normal and that is why we are here. They will likely cry and be scared. Not to worry, we have their safety and happiness as top priority! We will gently hold them and ease them into the water. Before you know it, they will be begging to stay in the water!
Why can’t we bring our floaties?
Floaties are a great safety option when needed. However, the best safety protection any one can have is the ability to swim and understand the nature of water.
Unlike other programs, we do not use any floaties to teach children how to swim. Why?
Why can’t we bring our own toys?
We bring a variety of toys to each lesson so the swimmers can have fun in the water. Once the children see the toys that we provide, they are excited to come back the next day to play with them again - keeping them excited for the lessons. This also allows us the ability to control the use of toys should children struggle with paying attention.
Am I allowed to be in the water with my child?
All swimmers 2 and under are required to have an adult accompaniment during lessons.
What if a lesson is cancelled due to weather?
If for any reason a lesson must be cancelled due to severe weather, a make-up lesson will be scheduled. If a replacement lesson is not immediately available, a credit will be issued towards a future make-up session.
What cities do you provide lessons in?
We travel all over! Our goal is to have a safe and happy county (and surrounding areas). Some common areas include: Alpharetta, Buford, Canton, Cumming, Doraville, Duluth, Dunwoody, Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Mountain Park, Norcross, Roswell, Sugar Hill, Suwanee, & Woodstock. Don’t see your area listed? Contact us to see if we are available.
